Labradorite is a variety of Feldspar that was found in Labrador, Canada (to be precise, it was found on Paul's Island which is just off of the coast of Labrador, Canada). Cut varieties of Labradorite are sometimes known as Sunstone and Moonstone, and it is very popular, if it is good quality, for jewelry.
