An Earthquake is a large-scaled vibration that can cause heavy damage and/or fatalities. It is caused by tectonic plates pushing and pulling back and forth so rapidly, it causes the affected area strong vibrations, and most likely pulling apart of land masses. Earthquake vibrations can stretch for hundreds of thousands of miles, sometimes inflicting heavy damage on certain areas. These areas are sometimes called fault lines.
